The student face of the Admissions Office

Welcome to the student page of the Admissions Office! Our student staff is divided into two distinct groups- Student Counselors and Daily Tour Guides. While the two programs focus on different aspects of the admissions experience, they both have the same overall mission. Our aim is to introduce prospective students and their families to the true soul of the St. Mary's community: the students. We also strive to provide accurate information using a personal and friendly approach.

The student programs are unique and prestigious groups within the Admissions Office. They are compromised of St. Mary's students with diverse backgrounds and interests who are fully engaged in the college both academically and socially. These students are united by their eagerness to share their Seahawk knowledge and experience with prospective students and their families. Our student staff also seeks to create personal relationships with perspective students to make the St. Mary's admissions process more personal, manageable and fun!

Student Admissions Leadership Team-  S.A.L.T.

SALT (Student Admissions Leadership Team) is a group of students that work to unite many facets of the St. Mary’s Community with the Admissions Office. The student fellows that make up SALT are outstanding current students who come from diverse backgrounds and interests, are fully engaged in the college both academically and socially, and have devoted a major part of their undergraduate careers to the Admission’s Office. Each student has a specific focus, from the multi-cultural community to alumni relations, that when collaborated, brings prospective students and their families the ultimate St. Mary’s experience.
