International Applicants

Welcome to St. Mary’s in the world.  Students from all parts of the world—more than 60 countries--have been St. Mary’s students.  As the honors college, we celebrate the diversity of cultures and experiences represented by these students.  Please use the information on these pages to learn how international students become a part of the St. Mary’s community.
 
St. Mary’s has special relationships with universities, students, and business leaders in Asia.  Please use the China, Vietnam, and Thailand web pages to learn more about these partnerships and how students from these countries should apply to St. Mary’s.
 
How to Apply as an International Student
 
There are special requirements for applicants who are not U.S. citizens.  If you are a citizen of China, Vietnam, or Thailand, please contact Dr. Wesley Jordan, Faculty Director of International Admissions (wpjordan@smcm.edu). Application information is on each countries webpage.
 
Other international students should contact the Office of Admissions (admissions@smcm.edu) for an application packet and information about English proficiency requirements.
