Emergency Assistance Fund
The
College's Foundation and the Office of Financial Aid are responding to current
economic concerns with the creation of an Emergency Assistance Fund. This new
fund provides emergency assistance to students who have a sudden, drastic change
in their financial situation. Your gift to this fund goes directly to
students struggling in the aftermath of an unexpected financial setback to
complete their St. Mary's education.

Its outstanding academic quality and affordable price tag have once again put St. Mary’s in Kiplinger Personal Finance magazine’s top 100 “best values in public colleges for the 2008-2009 school year.” Kiplinger’s newly published rankings place St. Mary's at number two in Maryland for best value. The College has the third highest four-year graduation rate in the nation at 75 percent, ranking behind only the College of William and Mary and the University of Virginia. It is ranked number one in Maryland for its six-year graduation rate of 83 percent. See full press release.
