The St. Mary’s College of Maryland Choir, Chamber Singers, and Orchestra will perform a concert featuring Ralph Vaughn Williams' moving choral work, "Dona Nobis Pacem" on Sunday April 22, at 4 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Lexington Park, Maryland.
Featured in the performance will be soprano Colleen Daly and baritone Robert McDonald. Both soloists are well-known performers in the region and nationally. Also included in the program will be Eric Whitacre's "Leonardo Dreams of his Flying Machine," performed by the St. Mary’s College Chamber Singers.
The concert will be directed by Professor of Music, Larry Vote, a talented vocal soloist and conductor. Vote has performed across the United States and Europe, directed award-winning musicals, and recorded numerous pieces for various publications.
The concert is free and open to the public.
