August

  • Aug 27: Residence halls open for new students
  • Aug 27-30: Orientation for new students 
  • Aug 29-30: Residence halls open for returning students at 10 a.m.
  • Aug 31: CLASSES BEGIN
  • Aug 27-Sept 11: Schedule-adjustment period and late registration

September

  • Sept 7: Labor Day Holiday: NO CLASSES
  • Sept 14-25: Add a course with a fee until September 25. Students may withdraw with a grade of "W" with a $25 fee until November 6
  • Sept 10-28: Open Room Change period
  • Sept 25: Last day for students to submit course work to faculty to remove an Incomplete, to change grading option to Credit/No-credit, and to declare an Audit grading option
  • Sept 25: Last day to file paperwork for Core 350

October

  • Oct 1: Last day to withdraw,  without a grade penalty, from a half-semester course
  • Oct 9: Last day for instructors to remove an Incomplete
  • Oct 12-13: Fall Reading Days: NO CLASSES (residences remain open)
  • Oct 19: Mid-semester report deadline
  • Oct 19-23: Half-semester courses begin
  • Oct 23: Last day to register for a half-semester course beginning at mid-semester

November

  • Nov 2-6: Academic advising for all degree students currently enrolled
  • Nov 3: All day advising: NO CLASSES
  • Nov 6: Last day to withdraw, without a grade penalty, from a full-semester course
  • Nov 4-13: Registration for degree students
  • Nov 19: Last day to withdraw, without a grade penalty, from a half-semester course which began at mid-semester
  • Nov 20: St. Mary's Projects due to mentor
  • Nov 24: Thanksgiving recess begins at 10:00 p.m.
  • Nov 30: CLASSES RESUME

December

  • Dec 11: Last day of regularly scheduled classes
  • Dec 11: St. Mary's Projects due in the registrar's office.
  • Dec 14-17: Final Class meetings/exams. Last class meeting scheduled during exams.
  • Dec 21: Grades due by noon

January

  • Jan 15: Residence halls open and orientation begins for new students

  • April 30: Last day of regularly scheduled classes, St. Mary’s Projects due in front desk Glendening Hall

  • May 3-4: St. Mary's Project presentations
  • May 5: Reading day
  • May 6-11: Final class meetings/exams. Last class meeting scheduled during exams.
