St. Mary’s boasts an outstanding faculty committed to helping students achieve academic excellence.

Small classes, dedicated teachers, and an informal atmosphere encourage faculty and students to share in the intellectual life of the College, both in and out of the classroom.

St. Mary's students receive extra attention from a talented and committed faculty. The College's student-to-faculty ratio is 10-to-1, one of the lowest in the nation.

Professors at St. Mary’s are first-rate scholars and researchers who have studied at many of the world’s finest colleges and universities. Yet their primary interest and central concern is the educational development of their students.

In addition to their teaching obligations in the classroom, members of the St. Mary’s faculty also serve as academic advisers, work with students in extracurricular programs, involve students in research, and mentor students in individualized projects.
