St. Mary's College of Maryland currently offers the following semester and year-long international programs, study tours, and international internship opportunities.  Students participating in semester or academic year programs will register for their study-abroad program in person with the Registrar as they go through a check-out process.  This check-out process will be discussed with students at the mandatory pre-departure meeting that takes place on Advising Day each semester.

Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies in Oxford
Course offerings focus on the Medieval and Renaissance time periods, as well as modern studies

Italy
St. Mary's Semester in Alba in the Piemonte region in northern Italy
Fall 2008 Liberal Arts Track courses:
  ENGL 201: Writing Italy with Jeff Hammond, intensive 3 week course
  PHYS 104: Galileo and the Birth of Modern Science with Charles Adler intensive 3 week course
  POSC 326: Modern Italian Politics and History from 1848-present, intensive 3 week course
  ILCI 101 or ILCI 201: Italian Language, throughout the semester

Fall 2008 Music Track courses:
Students may also choose to study music full-time in Alba.

The Gambia
