testimonial

"Participation in the NSE program is one of the greatest opportunities offered by St. Mary's.  I spent a wonderful semester at the College of Charleston where I was warmly welcomed and embraced into the student body.  Getting the chance to experience the structure, academics, and environment of another school was enriching, as well as fun.  I would recommend any student who is interested in gaining a valuable, unique college experience consider the program."

"When I first heard about NSE, I realized that I could select another university to attend for a year and still be considered a St. Mary's student!  Looking over the list of schools, I immediately chose to apply for the University of the Virgin Islands, St. Thomas.  I was warmly welcomed into the West Indian culture as I arrived on the small island in the Caribbean with two suitcases and a very open mind about my new adventure.  After a year of attending classes at the university, exploring the island's beaches and somehow managing to strike a balance with both, I would say that this experience has been pivotal in my growth as a student, but most importantly, as a person."
