The International Education Office is committed to encouraging all SMCM students to study abroad as an integral part of their college experience.  All undergraduates, regardless of their major, may apply to study abroad.  The Handbook 2003 was developed to facilitate participation in international education opportunities for prospective study-abroad students.  The handbook outlines the study-abroad approval process for SMCM students; SMCM study-abroad programs;  how to finance your international education; health and safety precautions; personal and pre-departure preparation; applying for a U.S. passport; and medical and vaccination information.
