Well This Is Fun

This is my first blog entry here on St. Mary’s Admissions blog! I hope its not too boring, I’ll get better as I go to Africa in the fall.

This weekend was alumni weekend, and St. Mary’s students came from all years past. There was music and dancing at the River Center and on the docks. Current students mixed with alums and it was a great time.  Friday night we built a bonfire down on Churchill Point (or the point as we call it) and roasted marshmallows and vegetarian chicken nuggets. Then we went night swimming in the river then warmed up by the fire.

I love bonfires, but the smell stays on you and your clothes for some time, and my feet got eaten by mosquitoes. Other than that, it was a great weekend full of meeting new people and having good times.
