There are a lot of reasons to go to St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Amazing campus, fantastic professors, life changing opportunities. But for me, these features pale in comparison to the reason I call this school home: we have the most ridiculously legit student body ever.
The culture of the students at St. Mary’s College is special, wonderful, and let me tell you, RARE. Which brings me to the point of this post:the annual SMCM tradition, Hallogreens. On what other campus will you find the entire student body out on the greens dressed in their most decadent Halloween attire? No other campus. Seniors, first years, everyone on campus comes together for this grand evening of tomfoolery–for a night few will forget.
The second you decide to come to SMCM, you join these amazing people–the most diverse and fabulous group of future graduates from coast to coast. Even as a first year, I have been immediately welcomed into the niche that is our lively and lovely school.
So if you are anyone who’s anyone, you probably will find a place waiting for you, too, by the river
