The second I finished that fourth exam, I ran out of the classroom so relieved that all my tests were over and it was time for SUMMER J!! I went straight back to my dorm room, met up with friends, and off to the docks we went for a fun day in the sun! We talked about all of our funny stories and memories from the school year.. our awesome Crayola Crayon Hallowgreen costumes, our Crazy Christmas Party, World Carnival, Ricky Martin, late night swimming in the river, and so so so much more! We talked about how excited we all were to go to Alba, Italy next fall, and then we had a horrible revalation.. WE ARE HALF WAY FINISHED WITH COLLEGE. We have been here for two years and we have to leave in another two, only the first two years flew by and I cannot even begin to imagine how fast junior and senior year will go. What a horrible feeling, to think that one day I actually may have to face reality and leave this wonderful place.. it was quite a mood kill. Nonetheless we hung out down by those docks to say goodbye to another year of school, and then headed back to the dorms to start packing up our things. (Just a side note, wherever you go to college, boy or girl, you will be so blown away by the amount of stuff that you can fit into that little dorm room, which you will be super bitter about when you start trying to pack it all up!) Anywho, we all packed up and I said farewell to a few friends for the summer as they headed home in their overflowing cars (it is also amazing how much stuff you can fit into car if you strategize the packing). Me on the other hand, I still refuse to leave my St. Mary’s fantasy. I am staying down here for the second summer in a row, because honestly, I just can’t get enough of this place! So with most underclassman gone for the summer, it was time for Senior Week, but I will save those stories for my next blog!!!
