This past Friday, the Class of 2013 held a fundraising event: mini-golf in the Library. You’d be surprised at how much harder it is to play mini-golf in a library than at Old Pro Golf down on 67th Street in Ocean City. For starters, the frictional resistance of the greens makes controlling your shots a lot easier. The carpet and paper “greens” have very little resistance not to mention there are very barriers to prevent your ball from traveling all over the course. Overall the event was awesome and a lot fun. The money went to a good cause and I got to practice my long-putt for when I hit the greens this summer. It’s always exciting to see fundraisers that succeed.
