I’m back in the County (our SMCM abbreviation for St. Mary’s County) and refreshed from a wonderful Spring Break! I spent a few days camping in Key West, Florida with around 50 other St. Mary’s students at the beginning of the week and had a blast! It was my first time camping so I had plenty of concerns going into the trip, but (aside from the mosquito bites) I can say that it was a very successful endeavor! After a few days in the sun, I came back from Spring Break earlier than everyone else for a job interview. It was not quite as fun, but definitely worth coming back for.
Now I’m in the homestretch! Friday marks 50 days to graduation, and I find myself scrambling to get in all of the “St. Mary’s-ness” that I can handle before I leave. Last night I ate a picnic dinner on the townhouse greens and watched the sunset with some friends. Sounds pretty cheesy to say over the internet, but a sunset over the St. Mary’s river is unlike anything you will ever see… it definitely never gets old.
