I love the people on campus. All of the students are always so cheerful and happy. The sense of community really makes you feel like you are home.

Why did you choose St. Mary’s?

Who could walk out of St. Mary’s and not say how wonderful the view is? Who could look at the docks and say that it’s just okay? I chose St. Mary’s for the water, for the docks, and most importantly for the wonderful people that walk through campus each and every day.

My favorite thing about St. Mary’s is that it is more of a community than a school. I love the altruistic and inclusive nature of the students here and the hands-on approach from the professors. And of course, I love the beautiful campus.

Why did you choose St. Mary’s?

I chose St. Mary’s because of the atmosphere, the water is incredibly relaxing and the people are extraordinarily open and friendly. It is an environment in which I can strive in many spheres while still being able to maintain a laid-back mindset.

What is your favorite thing about St. Mary’s?

My favorite thing about St. Mary’s is that students are given the opportunity to work closely with staff and faculty as early as their first semester Freshman year. It is incredible that undergraduate students are given the chance to work in a professional capacity whether it be in the Admissions Office, the Career Center, the bio lab or on a literary journal. It is a great feeling to work alongside professionals and know that your idea make a difference in the way your school operates.

My favorite thing about St. Mary's is being about to walk from one class to the other and see at least eight people I know. I love that it is a small community where the students are welcoming and friendly.

What is your favorite thing about St. Mary’s?

Favorite thing? The water! It's so great to have a place to escape to right here on campus.  The river sort of brings us all together and makes St. Mary's the kind of place that it is.

Why did you choose St. Mary’s?

I chose St. Mary's because I loved the community feeling that the campus has. I went to a small high school (my graduating class had 124 girls in it) and I grew to love going to a school where I knew every face and almost every name. St. Mary's gives me the same feeling and it feels like more than just a college community and more like a family.
