Alumni Doctoral Scholarship
Established in 2011 to benefit graduating students or alumni who pursue scholarly research at doctoral granting institutions. Selection made by application to the Alumni Association.
2011 recipient James Andrew Solyst '09 is in his third year in the neuroscience program at Emory University with an anticipated graduation date of May 2015. His interest bridges social psychology and neuroscience, and his research has the potential to translate to new treatments for improving social function in psychiatric disorders such as autism.
