Athletics Recreation Center (ARC)

Alumni and household family members 18 years of age and older are provided free memberships to the Michael P. O’Brien Athletic and Recreation Center. Although membership is free, an alumni OneCard ID* must be purchased and a membership application needs to be completed and filed at the Business Office in Glendening Hall.

For more information about the hours, services, and policies, visit the Michael P. O’Brien Athletic and Recreation Center web page.

Alumni may use the library anytime during operating hours. Upon arrival, go to the front desk and the librarian will sign you in as a guest and grant you use of the computers and databases. Alumni may use all of the software on the computers and borrow books, DVDs, and CDs. Alumni may make requests using Interlibrary Loan and the library staff will get the requested items. Borrowing laptops or other equipment is not permitted. For more information, visit the Library web page.
Alumni may use the St. Mary’s waterfront and check out kayaks, recreational flying junior sailboats, and paddleboards at no cost. Although access to these recreational services are free, the same alumni OneCard ID* that is required to use the Michael P. O’Brien Athletic and Recreation Center is needed to check out the waterfront equipment. For additional information on the hours and services, visit the Waterfront web page.* The alumni OneCard ID is similar to the one issued to current students and comes with a one time administrative fee of $25. To order your card, stop by the Business Office in Glendenning Hall Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to fill out the paperwork and pay your $25 fee.
