ARCHIVES
The St. Mary's College of Maryland Archives is located in Calvert Hall 009.
We provide for the acquisition, organization, description, preservation, and availability of unique materials documenting the history of the school as well as the history of Southern Maryland, particularly St. Mary's County.
Due to their one-of-a-kind nature, archival materials don't circulate and must be used in the Archives.
We're open Monday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Walk-in visitors are welcome, but appointments are encouraged!
Online Collections are coming soon, including:
- Historic campus photographs
- Monument school of the people : a sesquicentennial history of St. Mary’s College of Maryland, 1840-1990 / by J. Frederick Fausz
- SlackWater oral history archive
- St. Mary's Project abstracts
