The biology faculty and staff believe
that appreciating the complexity of the natural world, understanding
the biological processes and the function of our own bodies and
generally being literate in science and mathematics is imperative
for all students of the liberal arts. While diverse in their
educational backgrounds and research interests, the biology faculty
and staff are united in their passion for scientific inquiry,
teaching and mentoring undergraduate students.
