February 14
 Starts at 8:00 PM
Campus Center- Daily Grind Coffee Shop

SGA Programs Board presents

Mal Blum is a 24 year old songwriter and performer. She started making music as a tenderhearted teenager from New York with a bit of hutzpah and a love for songwriting. Now she spends her time writing songs, traveling the country playing songs, and writing songs about traveling the country playing songs. She has supported many national artists in her years on earth including (one-offs) Jeffrey Lewis, Amanda Palmer, Bitch, Kaia Wilson, Hammell On Trial, and Kimya Dawson as well as folk rocker Melissa Ferrick on her fall 2009, and winter/spring 2010 tours. Her music has been featured on LOGO (voted a top ten video of the year), in numerous music blogs and publications and one time was named Kill Rock Stars' "Demo of The Week" in a blog somewhere, which she was excited about because she was on a really big Thao With The Get Down Stay Down kick at the time. Mal has been touring in 2012 to promote her third full length album, Every Time You Go Somewhere and recording a new full length/full band studio album for 2013.
