Marriage and the Family in Ancient Rome, from pagan to Christian
Judith Evans Grubbs, Betty Gage Holland Professor of Roman History at Emory University in Atlanta, will present a public lecture on "Marriage and the Family in Ancient Rome, from 'Pagan" to "Christian" on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at 4:10 p.m. in Cole Cinema.
Professor Evans Grubbs research focuses on law and the family in the Roman World. She is the author of numerous books and articles on this topic. Currently she is working on a new book Children without Fathers in Roman Law.
