2013 Maryland Legislative Session Wrap-Up Discussion
The Public Policy Studies Program and the Center for the Study of Democracy will host a public discussion of the 2013 Session of the Maryland Legislature. St. Mary's County Delegates John Bohanan (D) and Anthony O'Donnell (R) will offer their assessment of the just-completed session and take questions from the public.
The 2013 session has been described as one of the most productive in recent years - the Assembly tackled gun control, a repeal of the death penalty, off-shore wind power, an increase in the gas tax, and a list of other issues too numerous to mention. Members of the College and Southern Maryland community are invited to come and talk about the session with members of the Assembly.
The event is free and open to the public.
