At St. Mary’s, our diverse community comes together in a variety of ways.
We offer events such as World Carnival; we have programs such as the DeSousa-Brent Scholars Program and the Multicultural Achievement Peer Program (MAPP); and we have a wide array of service and social change clubs that provide support and activities for our students, including the Black Student Union, St. Mary’s Triangle and Rainbow Society, Raíces Hispanas, the East Asian Studies Club, Feminists United for Sexual Equality, to name a few...
We also have an LGBTQ Student Services Office that coordinates monthly programs, services, and resources for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community.
"My time as a student at St. Mary's was a life learning experience. I had a chance to study with top-notch professors and I had outstanding students in my classes and in the Spanish club. All the members of the college are fascinating human beings from the cooks to the members of the board; they are always trying to help you succeed in life! I am currently teaching at a university in Argentina and working for the international department of that university. Every day I put into practice what I was taught at St. Mary's.”
