SMCM now has a new career and education planning system called "FOCUS". This interactive website combines self-assessment and career exploration into one comprehensive program. If you haven't yet decided on a major, Focus can help you identify occupations of interest and relevant areas of study. If you have already settled on a major, Focus can help you explore occupations that may be a good fit for your major, background, and personal characteristics. After you have taken the assessments you are encouraged to make an appointment for assistance with interpretation.
