A nonprofit association that is dedicated to advancing biological research and education for the welfare of society.

National Science Foundation
The goal of this foundation is to fund research in academic areas, as well as in other significant collaborations and projects in the sciences. Along with this, they work to keep scientific studies updated and those involved in them well-informed on new developments.

Ecological Society of America
The objective of this society is to bring together ecologists in applying ecological principles to the solution of environmental problems and informing others of current research through journals.
