PreserveNet Historic Preservation Internships
The National Council for Preservation Education offers paid ($4800) federal internships in various cultural program resource offices.
The Smithsonian provides opportunities (mostly unpaid) for more than 900 interns per year at its various museums, offices, and research facilities.

Shelburne Museum: Fellowship and Internship
The deadline for these opportunities in 2010 is January 29. Two two-year positions are available to work as fellows for the museum assisting in handling, maintaining and labeling objects. Five positions are available as paid summer internships working in several education programmatic areas.
