The Biochemistry Major: Degree Requirements

To earn a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in biochemistry, a student must satisfy the following minimum requirements:

1. General College Requirements, including the following requirements to satisfy the major.
2. Required Courses
3. Every biochemistry major must complete a St. Mary's Project.
4. Students must earn grades of C- or better in all courses listed in items 2-3 above, and maintain an overall GPA of 2.0 or better in these required courses.

Note: Students earning a degree in biochemistry may not pursue a second major in chemistry.
