"Topping Out Ceremony," SMCM August 11, 2006

The faculty/staff of St. Mary's College were invited to a "topping out ceremony" hosted by the contractor, Coakley-Williams, to celebrate the placing of the highest steel beam in the construction of the new academic building. The new academic building named "Goodpaster Hall" will house the departments of chemistry, psychology and educational studies. The building will be connected to Schaefer Hall that currently houses the departments of biology, chemistry, math, and physics.
