Involvement and Meetings
We always welcome new members and are looking for committee chairs and project coordinators.
K-Kids Coordinator - Currently we are searching for a member to help with running K-Kids meetings (the elementary school level of the Kiwanis family) at Lexington Park Elementary this year. The task includes coming up with service-related activities once a week that children in 3rd through 5th grade can handle during their after school program. The kids are a lot of fun to work with and love having older kids coming to visit! The K-Kids coordinator will also have the help of other CKI members at each meeting. Our own CKI meetings are held every other Wednesday at 8:30pm in Monty 103.
