Triple S Effect
Triple S Effect began in the fall semester of 2008 by a group of friends who wanted to add diversity to the campus by introducing a form of African and African-American culture that isn't incorporated in our school. Triple S Effect stood for St. Mary's Steppin' Seahawks. In the fall of 2011 with a new begining Triple S Effect became St. Mary's Seahawk Stepper's. The step team not only helps bring new culture into the school but also introduce new cultures together to step by breaking the stereotype that only black people can step. We are open to anyone and everyone. We highly encourage people of all different backgrounds to join us in learning new steps as well as various moves while having fun. We are more than a club, we are a circle of friends and a extended family who enjoy our time together and enjoy working hard together to continue to make our name known as we show the SMCM campus what we are made of.
