St. Mary's College of Maryland offers an assortment of housing and facilities for residential conferences and camps.  With its comfortable accommodations and fully equipped meeting spaces, the campus provides the ideal environment for over-night conferences.  Camps with minors benefit from the fun and secure environment provided by the close-knit walking campus, and the wide array of activities.

Conference and camp housing is available in any of 8 residence halls, based on availability and each group's individual needs. St. Mary's offers 4 residential options: traditional dorms, suites, apartments and townhouses..


Queen Anne Hall

Layout: Dorms are three stories with no elevator.   Most rooms accommodate two guests.  There are two showers per floor.  Each dorm features a lobby area for check-in and a recreation area.

Capacity: 168 guests/Dorm


Lewis Quad

Layout: 6 person, 8 person, 10 person, and 14 person suites are available.  All suites have a common room and shared bathrooms.

Waring Commons

Layout: 6 person and 8 person apartments are available.  All apartments have a common room, and shared bathrooms.

Amenities: AC, Internet is available

Complex capacity: 96 guests



Layout: Two double occupancy bedrooms per townhouse.  Full kitchen, living room, dining room, and shared bathroom.

Residential Rates

Residential rates are calculated per person per day and include 3 meals per day* served in the Great Room, our campus dining facility; additional facility rental, media equipment and furniture needs; and event support from our Events & Conferences staff. Pillows are provided, bed and bath linens are available at an additional cost. 

*Weekend meal availability is dependent on size of the group and number of groups on the campus. 



A self-service dining facility that caters to a wide range of tastes and food preferences.


On site catering is available through St. Mary’s College’s resident catering company Bon Appétit.

Bon Appétit has first right of refusal for all events and conferences held on campus.  


  • Camps and Conference groups are required to purchase a $1,000,000 liability insurance policy and must present a copy of the policy to the Office of Events and Conferences no later than two weeks prior the event start date. 
  • Fingerprinting and background checks are required for all adults who will work with individuals under the age of 18 within their program. Documentation must be provided to the Office of Conferences and Events no later than two weeks prior the start date of the event. 
  • Camps and conferences with minor participants are required to provide a ratio of no less that one adult chaperon for every 10 minors. 
  • All food and beverages served must be provided by a licensed caterer. Bon Appétit has first right of refusal for all events, conferences, and camp activities held on campus.
