2009 International Explorations

London Theatre

January 7-15, 2009
This week-long trip is led by David Groupé of Theatre, Film, and Media Studies.  It includes five London plays, tours, and sightseeing.

Shanghai to Shangri-La, China

March 17 - Aril 6, 2009
Beginning in ultra modern Shanghai, this three week trip will trace the most dramatic natural and artistic sites of South China, and visit the village and monastery near the Tibetan border named Shangri-La.  Led by Frank van Aalst, former Professor of History.

Alba, Italy

May 24– June 2, 2009
An opportunity to enjoy the great music of the annual festival of St. Mary’s College of Maryland and Alba musicians as well as some of the glories of the Italian countryside.

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Spring 2009
Explore the culturally diverse capital of Argentina through historical tours, sightseeing, wine tasting, and a performance at the newly renovated opera house.
