One Card Fact Sheet

Students are not permitted to let others use their ID card for any purpose. There is a $40 fine for violation of this policy. In addition, the ID card will be confiscated and forwarded to the one card office.

The customer is responsible for the amount charged per transaction and for their debit accounts.

Students may not transfer funds from the debit account to their student account.

Debit remains on the account until the student leaves, withdraws, or graduates.

Deposits may be made via student account transfers, cash, check, and credit cards. Parents who desire to supplement a student account may do so by calling the Business Office at 240.895.4302. In order to process the deposit, a valid VISA, MasterCard, or Discover card will be needed. Checks returned as uncollectible are subject to the check collection procedures of the St. Mary's College Business Office, including but not limited to charges of $25.00 for checks of $1,000.00 or less and $50.00 for checks in excess of $1,000.00.

The cardholder is responsible for immediately reporting a lost or stolen card. The cardholder is responsible for all transactions made with their card until it has been reported as lost or stolen. A replacement fee of $25.00 is charged for lost, stolen, and damaged cards.

There is no charge for cards that are no longer working. However, if the card is damaged, there is a $25.00 charge.

The OneCard is non-transferable and may not be misinterpreted as a form of state identification.
