Phishing

Phishing is the now well-established scam process consisting of sending an email to a user falsely claiming to be an established legitimate enterprise in an attempt to scam the user into surrendering private information that will be used for identity theft. Click here for more information.

Lost or Stolen Cards

If your SMCM OneCard is lost or stolen, you should deactivate your account immediately. You are responsible for charges on your card until it is reported missing. You may deactivate your account in the following manner:

  • Visit or call X4469 the OneCard Office between 8:00a.m. and 5:00p.m.
  • Visit or call X4911 Public Safety after 5:00p.m. daily, weekends and holidays.
  • Deactivate your One Card online through the Manage Your Account Option

The OneCard office is located in Baltimore Hall, X4469. Replacement cards may be purchased for $25.00 between 8:00a.m. and 5:00p.m. Monday through Friday. Temporary cards are also available for emergencies at the SMCM Department of Public Safety.
