    The Center for the Study of Democracy produces publications and organizes and participates in events in order to reach a wider audience. This includes:

Zach Messitte moderating debates

  • An occasional paper series;
  • Selected texts of speeches and lectures given at Center-sponsored events
  • Participation in media events
  • Testimony in front of the Maryland legislature

Photo: The former Director of the Center (at left) moderated the debates for election to the St. Mary's County Board of Commissioners and the State House in Annapolis. The event was broadcast on local cable television.
