·         Introduction lecture Professor Michael Cain (Political Science), CC150 10am

·         Lunch on campus (Great Hall)

·         Women in Academia panel, Cole Cinema (President O'Brien) 3-5 pm

·         Dinner on campus (Great Hall)

25 October

Friday:                                   Washington, D.C.

·         Meeting with Marcia Lee, Senior Adviser to Senator Joseph Biden for Drug Policy (221 Russell Senate Office Building) (11:00a.m.)

·         Lunch (Union Station)

·         Meeting with Debra Nelson, CNN producer, the Capital Gang                    (820 First Ave. NE 11th floor) (2p)

·         National museum of women in the arts visit

·         Dinner in DC (El Tamarindo in Adams Morgan – 1785 Flordia Ave.)

 

26 October

Saturday:                                  On Campus and in St. Mary's

·         Lunch (Great Hall)

·         Skipjack tour on the Chesapeake Bay in afternoon Dinner w/families

 

27 October

Sunday:                                      Free day

·         Shopping trip to Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

Monday:                                                 Day in Leonardtown/on campus

·         Business leaders: Christine Wray of St. Mary's (10am) CC 226

·         Lunch at Winpisinger Center -- International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (24494 Placid Harbor Way) (12:30)*

·         Women and Labor: Winpisinger Center (2-3)*

·         On Campus Dinner

·         Evening on campus: talk by Emma Sepulveda

Tuesday:                                                On Campus with faculty and students

·         Attend Elizabeth Williams' class: "Women and Leadership"  (10-noon)

·         Lunch in Great Hall

·         Meet with student groups 2-4p (CC228)

·         Dinner with families

30 October

Wednesday:                                         HSMC and Local candidates

·         Dr. Marty Sullivan gives HSMC tour, with focus on role of women in Colonial Maryland and Margaret Brent's legacy

·         Cocktail party by Chamber of Commerce at HSMC (5:30-6:45)

·         Farewell dinner with participants, home stay families, and the campus community; CC205 (President's Room) (7-8:30)

                                                               

31 October

Thursday:                                                              Return to Washington, D.C.

·         Pick-up at Calvert Hall (11am)

·         Delta DCA-JFK (3:10pm)
