ANNOUNCING M.A.T. Admissions Open Houses

FALL 2010 – for the 2010-2011 Cohort

September 8 at 4:30 and 8:00 in Goodpaster 195

2.Have you now grown into the adult who values education as one important tool in changing the lives of children and society at large?  Who wants to put your liberal arts education to use in service to others by having a classroom of your own?		3.Do you now value, as a life-long learner, being able to question and grow and share new insights with both pre-K-12 students and with colleagues?  Who wants to earn that apple for the teacher by being the guide, the nurturer, the facilitator, the environmental engineer – THE TEACHER ?

 

The SMCM MAT is not your mother’s teacher education program! Come learn about our innovative approach – the technology you learn to use, the way you will be able to make data-driven decisions, the year-long internship that scaffolds your development as a teacher, the way you learn to teach to close the achievement gap. Have your questions about the admissions process, the M.A.T. curriculum, and applying for summer 2011 time frames answered at our upcoming admissions open houses.
