This plan is contingent upon current news and weather forecasts.
72 hours before:
- The IIS team will provide reports to the student services and public safety of all emergency contact information of current active students.
- This report will be emailed to Joanne Goldwater and Ed Adams to be distributed as they see fit.
- We will touch base with the telecommunications coordinator to provide any directory information to public safety. This will include all faculty and staff.
48 hours before:
- At 8:00 AM an email will be sent to the campus on the days events.
- At 10:00 AM the daily backup will be placed in a water tight container and delivered to the business office. They will place this backup in the safe.
12-24 hours before:
- The daily backup will be placed in a water tight container and delivered to the Business Office. They will place this backup in the safe.
- At noon or approximately 5 hours before the storm hits (whichever comes first) the logical log tapes will be sealed in a water tight container and delivered to the business office to be placed in the safe.
- At noon or approximately 5 hours before the storm hits (whichever comes first) the following will be shut down: the legacy system (Alpha1); the impromptu server; the test environment (HP2); the production environment (HP1); and the power will be turned off.
Upon notification from the proper authorities all systems will be brought back online. The current phone tree structure will be the proper document to follow.
