Her topic: To Sleep - Perchance, to Breathe: Untangling the Pathophysiology of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a prevalent sleep disorder characterized by obstruction of the upper airway during sleep, resulting in intermittent hypoxia and fragmented sleep.
