VOICES Reading Series – Crystal Brandt

(Faculty Reading) Crystal Brandt is a poet and songwriter living with her family in Southern Maryland. She has released four albums: Fixing to Break (MW Records, 2002), Bessie's Last Stand (2003), Voter (2007), and Light it Up (2013). She received Henrietta Spiegel Creative Writing Award from the University of Maryland and earned her M.F.A. in Poetry from Brooklyn College.

Foto-songs from Italy and the World: A Duo Alterno concert

A concert program by the Duo Alterno in the 20th anniversary of its musical activity, that in more than 100 tours across 50 countries of five continents has collected "foto-songs" and images linking them to the voice-piano repertoire of living composers.

Brian Ganz and Beverly Babcock Piano Recital

The Alice Fleury Zamanakos and Arthur S. Zamanakos Noon Concert Series presents: On April 3 and April 10 in Auerbach Auditorium of St. Mary's Hall, SMCM Piano Faculty Brian Ganz and Beverly Babcock will perform two piano classics at two noon-time concerts. On April 3, they will perform Chopin's Concerto No. 3 in F minor. On April 10, they will perform an arrangement of Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue." The concerts are free and open to the public.
