Tara Youngborg ‘11 is a web-based artist working and living in Fairfax, Virginia. She has previously lived and worked in Brunswick, Maine and Maryland, where she graduated from St Mary’s College of Maryland with a BA in Art and Art History in 2011. She currently works as the Exhibition Coordinator for the Ridderhof Martin and duPont Galleries at the University of Mary Washington. The 7th Chesapeake Writers’ Conference hosts writers at all levels of experience for a rich week of lectures, craft talks, readings, and panel discussions, as well as daily workshops in fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. We offer a multi-genre course in which high schoolers get the chance to try their hand at a range of genres and styles.
