Join us on Maryland’s Western Shore—five minutes from the Chesapeake, ten from the Potomac–for a week of craft talks, lectures, panel discussions, and readings, as well as daily workshops in fiction, poetry, or creative nonfiction. It is possible to receive college course credit for the work you do at the conference. Enrollment is limited; applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April 2017, the College is organizing an event in partnership with Fear 2 Freedom, a non-profit, and St. Mary’s Hospital.  At this event, which will take place on April 6, 2017, attendees will have an opportunity to assemble “aftercare kits” to give to patients who receive sexual assault forensic (SAFE) exams at St. Mary’s Hospital.  These kits include clothing, toiletries, a journal, and a teddy bear, among other materials.  During the program,…
