Lecture with Book Signing — “Ghost Walls: The Story of a 17th-Century Colonial Homestead”. Historic St. Mary’s City, Visitor Center Auditorium, 18751 Hogaboom Lane, St. Mary’s City, MD 20686. Award-winning author Sally M. Walker brings colonial American history to life through the discovery of an important homestead in seventeenth century Maryland. She follows the painstaking work of scientists and historians to coax fascinating stories out of the long-crumbled walls. Henry Miller, Ph.D., HSMC Director of Research, will provide context for the book by discussing the St. John’s archaeological site.
