Q. I didn’t play a fall or winter sport – should I still attend?
Spring Break-a-Sweat is one of the fastest growing alumni events and comes at a wonderful time of the year to visit campus. The day is very open and we encourage you to see your favorite places on campus, enjoy the waterfront recreation, and touch base with friends you still know in the area. The Alumni & Friends Gathering in the afternoon is a great place for all alumni, not just the returning athletes, to reconnect over a cold beer.
Q. Where should I park?
Visitors for this event should park in Lot T (Guam) and Lot Z. Overflow parking is permitted in the grassy field to the left of Guam.
Q. Is this event family-friendly? What about pets?
This event is family friendly with activities set up for children throughout the Alumni & Friends Gathering. Unfortunately, NCAA policy requires that pets aren’t near the varsity games so we encourage you to leave all four-legged family members at home.
Q. What are the food/beverage options?
The J. Frank Raley Great Room at the Campus Center will be open throughout the day and alumni and their guests can enjoy complimentary food between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Hospitality Garden. Beer and soft drinks will be available for purchase during the Alumni & Friends Gathering.
