Make a GiftDubbed a "Southern Maryland Wolftrap" by the Washington Post, the River Concert Series (RCS) has created a creative outlet for artists and has attracted first-rate performers from around the globe. What began as a single summer solstice concert sponsored by the Arts Alliance, has expanded to seven Friday evening concerts and weeknight film festivals with alfresco café concerts.
Having just completed its ninth season, the RCS has grown to be one of the premiere summer musical events in the mid-Atlantic region, and is quickly gaining a reputation as a place to debut new compositions.
