The SlackWater Project brings the oral histories of Maryland to life.
Through public outreach and undergraduate research, student and faculty members have recorded and catalogued stories of the Southern Maryland Tidewater region in the SlackWater journal. The project also helps to provide a forum for education, information, and public debate on issues affecting one of the fastest growing regions in the state.
Your help is needed to keep bringing these stories of environmental and cultural change to light.
