Health Services and Counseling Services are housed at the Counseling and Health Center. We are separate services that enjoy working closely together to address the holistic needs of our student community. The services offered at the Center have been specifically designed to address issues related to college student development and to give students the assistance and support needed to successfully manage the physical and emotional challenges of the college years.
Life in college is a time of great change and personal growth. It is exciting, satisfying, and sometimes challenging. We understand that students need many kinds of support to help them succeed at college. Our primary goal is to support students in negotiating a healthy transition to adulthood. We respect the dignity and worth of all students as maturing individuals with unique perspectives and contributions to make including those which reflect gender, race, creed, family and ethnic background, socioeconomic status, physical ability and sexual orientation.

Our center is located in Chance Hall, between Montgomery Hall and the St. Johns Historic Site Museum on East Fisher Rd. Business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. A nurse is available from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays during the academic year.
