Completed MA in History (’10) and MAT (’12) at Monmouth University and is teaching history at Perth Amboy High School in Perth Amboy, NJ.
Working as a paralegal for the U.S. Department of Transportation and the U.S. Army Reserves, while pursuing her J.D. at the University of Maryland School of Law.
Completed her Masters in Library Science at University of Maryland in 2010 and was recently promoted to Youth Programming Coordinator for Loudoun County (VA) Public Library.
Pursuing a PhD in US History at the University of Maryland.
Accepted into the Ph.D. program in American Studies at The College of William and Mary.
Accepted into a Ph.D. program in history at Ohio State University, to start in the Fall.
An assistant professor in the History Department at UNC-Wilmington where he specializes in the history of science.

Earned an MA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 2013.
Published “Rhapsody in Red: Shostakovich and American Wartime Perceptions of the Soviet Union” in the recent special issue on “Music and the Other” in Patterns in Prejudice, an interdisciplinary academic journal published by Taylor and Francis in the United Kingdom. MacCurtain’s article began as a Saint Mary’s Project under the direction of Dr. Tom Barrett.

Dominic, a history major turned professional jazz drummer, is currently on a European tour with saxophonist James Brandon Lewis.
