Assistant Professor of Biology – Neurobiologist
The Department of Biology and the Cross-disciplinary Program in the Neurosciences at St. Mary’s College of Maryland jointly invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2019. We especially encourage applicants with research interests in cellular and/or molecular neuroscience. Teaching responsibilities include: Principles of Biology, Neurobiology, Introduction to the Neurosciences, Seminar in the Neurosciences, and electives in the candidate’s area of specialization. Mentoring undergraduate research is also expected. Ph.D. required; postdoctoral training and/or teaching experience preferred.
