Assistant Professor of Computer Science
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at St. Mary’s College of Maryland invites applications for a tenure-track position in Computer Science, starting fall semester, 2019. A successful applicant will be an outstanding teacher with a commitment to attracting and retaining students from underrepresented groups (including women). The new hire will be able to teach a wide range of undergraduate computer science courses, and be dedicated to the liberal arts tradition. The teaching load is three courses per semester.

Qualifications: Applicants should have expertise in any area of computer science or related fields and hold a Ph.D. in computer science, computer science education, or a related area at the time of appointment. (Those awaiting their dissertation defense may be considered. If hired, the candidate would serve as Instructor of Computer Science until terminal degree is acquired.)
